Budget Car And Truck Rental of Atlanta Hosts Avis Budget Group Rolling Pride Rally
On August 13, Budget Car and Truck Rental of Atlanta will host a Rally for Avis Budget Group's Rolling Pride North American Tour. Locally owned and operated since 1977, Budget Atlanta will celebrate customers, employees, and special guests.
Online, August 10, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Budget Car and Truck Rental of Atlanta's Rolling Pride Rally is part of Avis Budget Group's Rolling Pride North American Bus Tour. Rolling Pride is an eight-week grassroots salute to customers and employees, stopping in 80 locations across the country. The theme is "I OWN IT": Every employee owns the customer experience. The Budget Atlanta stop is Monday, August 13, from 11AM-1PM at the Hartsfield Jackson Airport Consolidated Car Rental Facility. As Avis Budget Group's largest licensee, the Atlanta Group franchise (d/b/a Budget Rent A Car of Atlanta) welcomes ABG North American President Tom Gartland and his accompanying executive leadership and customer experience team. The Rally reaffirms Budget's commitment to empowering both employees and customers democratizing travel while providing great value in car rental.
Locally owned and operated for thirty-five years, Budget Atlanta will recognize the two dozen employees with over twenty years of service. 200 Budget employees will attend the Rally showing their Rolling Pride by wearing special color coded tee shirts distinguishing length of service along with Atlanta and car themed creative spirit wear. Atlanta Braves mascot Homer and a live DJ will join the Rally. Several featured vehicles will be on display, including local renter favorites like the Dodge Charger RT Max, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Fiat 500, Ford Mustang Convertible, and Jaguar XJ.
Additionally, Atlanta-raised and former New York Yankee baseball great (the first Designated Hitter of all-time) Ron Blomberg will be talking baseball with all interested parties. Also, legendary Atlanta restaurateur Ray Schoenbaum will speak about his experiences as both a franchisee and franchisor. Employees will compete in contests for most creative costume, poster, social media photo posts tagging RollingPride and BudgetATL, and a special grand prize for the Budget King or Queen having the best overall display of local pride.
