Bryan Cole Nominated For Breakthrough Country Artist Of The Year

Country music artist, Bryan Cole is nominated for Breakthrough Artist of the Year in his genre, at the 2011 New Music Awards.

Perfect Vision Records and MTS Management are proud to announce that their artist, Bryan Cole has been nominated for a 2011 New Music Award, as Breakthrough Country Artist of the Year! "What? How did that happen?" was Bryan's initial reaction, when he heard the news. "Wow! I'm totally shocked and honored, and...really surprised. Thank you, NMW and everyone who took the time to nominate me. I'm very humbled. Good luck to all the nominees."

The New Music Awards are given annually to those artists who have had significant success on the New Music Weekly charts. Back in December, Bryan had his first NMW #1 country chart hit with "Pride And the Passion," a song that was used by his hometown Pittsburgh Pirates in television spots. Other nominees in the category this year include: Taylor Made, Tony Douglas, Kelly Parkes, Bobby Dean, and Coleman Brothers.

Last year, he was nominated for his first New Music Award in the Best New Country Artist category, eventually losing out to Leah Seawright. "We're very proud of Bryan's accomplishments in 2011. It's been quite a year!" said Michael Stover, Bryan's manager and head of MTS Management. "First, a number one NMW single, now this...2012 is off to an incredible start! We've got the new single coming out in a few days, and this will just give us that little extra bit of excitement coming out of the box."

Nominated in a different category, Record Promoter of the Year, is Alan Young. Alan was responsible for both of Bryan's top 10 NMW hits, "Pride And the Passion" and "I'm Comin' Home," and he will be handling promotions for Bryan's upcoming single, "Love Doesn't Live Here," out on January 16th.
