Brittany S. Cates Named a "New Leader in the Law 2015"

Ms. Brittany S. Cates, an attorney with the firm Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C., has been selected by the Connecticut Law Tribune as one of the “New Leaders in the Law” of 2015.

Attorney Cates represents physicians, hospitals and other health care providers, and institutions in litigation matters, including medical malpractice, premises liability, and products liability. On a daily basis, attorney Cates takes a leadership position in developing the defense strategy for many large medical malpractice cases, takes key depositions, develops experts, and briefs and argues pre-trial and trial motions. Neubert, Pepe & Monteith’s clients benefit from her keen insights, diligence and persistence.

In addition to being named a “New Leader in the Law,” Attorney Cates has been named a “Rising Star” by Connecticut and New England Super Lawyers. Attorney Cates serves on the Executive Committee of the LGBT Section of the Connecticut Bar Association and on the Board of Directors for the New Haven nonprofit AIDS Project New Haven. She is also a member of the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association and the New Haven County Bar Association.
