Braun Corporation Announces New Leadership Lineup

The Braun Corporation announced today an organizational shift that will enable it to better focus on mobility markets and customers with the creation of two new roles. Greg Cook will serve as Vice President of Commercial/International Sales & Marketing and Duane Galbreath will become Vice President of Consumer Sales & Marketing, effective October 3, 2011.

This marks a change in strategic direction for the sales and marketing units of Braun, a leading manufacturer of wheelchair accessible vehicles and wheelchair lifts. The separation into commercial/international and consumer/personal divisions will help the company keep pace with the growing markets.

"We're excited about the expanded leadership roles Greg and Duane will assume," said Nick Gutwein, Braun President. "Greg's highly successful background in leading Braun's sales and marketing efforts will help us leverage the rapid expansion of international mobility sales. Duane's trusted relationships with our dealer body will enhance the power of the Braun dealer network."

Cook previously served as the VP of Sales & Marketing from 2008, with an emphasis on enhancing Braun's dealer network and structure, international capabilities and line of wheelchair vans and wheelchair lifts. In his new role, Cook will oversee the lift, paratransit, and commercial wheelchair accessible vehicle product lines for the commercial and international markets.

Most recently, Galbreath served as Director of Financial Services and Business Development, with a focus on dealer development and expansion. He will now lead the North American consumer sales and marketing team, overseeing the consumer wheelchair accessible vehicle and consumer wheelchair lift product lines, and maintain his role in dealer financial services.

About The Braun Corporation
The Braun Corporation is the leading global manufacturer of wheelchair accessible vans and wheelchair lifts that enable people with physical disabilities to regain mobility and lead active and independent lives. The Indiana-based company was founded by Ralph Braun, who was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy at a young age and was unable to walk by age 15. Ralph was motivated by his disability to invent the world's first electric scooter (the Tri-Wheeler) and wheelchair lift (the Lift-A-Way) in his parents' garage. Word spread and demand for the product increased, resulting in the birth of Save-A-Step Manufacturing, which ultimately became The Braun Corporation. Braun offers the most diverse line of vehicle platforms in the mobility industry, including the Dodge Grand Caravan, Chrysler Town & Country, Toyota Sienna, and Honda Odyssey.
