Boulder Crest Foundation Selected by Three Organizations for Veterans Day Promotions
BLUEMONT, Va., November 16, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Boulder Crest Foundation, a 501(c)(3) veteran-led nonprofit that uses Posttraumatic Growth (PTG) to heal, train, and advocate for veterans, announced today three Veterans Day collaborations with TRX®, Ford Motor Company, and BENRUS. The Foundation welcomes these new opportunities to help more veterans, first responders, and their families who live with trauma.
"With military suicides spiking more than 20 percent due to pandemic isolation, we are honored to have these investors make Boulder Crest the centerpiece of their Veterans Day efforts. These investments will significantly impact the lives of our nation's heroes in this unpredictable and critical time," said Ken Falke, Bounder Crest Founder and Chairman. "The visibility and support resulting from these promotions will further our ongoing efforts to expand our signature PTSD program—Warrior PATHH."
Boulder Crest is the first organization to develop and deliver Posttraumatic Growth-based programs and continues to innovate, enhance, and expand this field of study for the benefit of our veteran community. Boulder Crest's health and wellness philosophy is that veterans can transform times of deep struggle into profound strength and lifelong growth after combat trauma through various modalities—training and education, meditation, gratitude, nutrition, and physical fitness.
Boulder Crest's long-standing partner, TRX, is a central part of Warrior PATHH's wellness emphasis, each veteran who goes through Warrior PATHH receives a TRX® Suspension Trainer™ upon graduation. This Veterans Day, they are offering a unique and general offer: for every Limited Edition TRX® Digi Camo Strap sold another will be donated to Boulder Crest Foundation.
"At TRX, we are proud to develop programs and products specifically targeted for military and first responders," said Randy Hetrick, founder of TRX. "Partnering with Boulder Crest Foundation gives us the opportunity to reach and support more of our heroes in their journey to move forward in healthy, positive ways."
Additionally, Ford Motor Company selected the Foundation as a recipient of up to $500,000 from Ford and Ford dealers nationwide. This donation is part of a larger $3.5 million investment made to seven military charities as an extension of the company's Proud to Honor initiative and a campaign to make joy for our military heroes, running from now through Dec. 31, 2020.
"We are humbled by the sacrifices made by our military service members and their families," said Mark LaNeve, Ford vice president, U.S. marketing, sales and service. "Our Ford dealers are woven into the fabric of their communities and I'm proud of the support they provide to make a difference in the lives of our vets."
Finally, the Foundation is receiving a donation from BENRUS Watch Company for every TYPE I watch sold. BENRUS timepieces were worn for decades by the U.S. covert and specialized military teams from World War II through Vietnam. Today, the brand is reintroducing the iconic TYPE I military timepiece, limited to 1,000 pieces.
"Partnering with Boulder Crest Foundation gives us new purpose around our November's launch of the historic Type I," said Michael Goeller, COO of BENRUS. "We are proud to bring back this legendary timepiece, the first American Milspec dive watch, and provide a donation to help advance the great work done at Boulder Crest."
