Erin Lale will sign her book Asatru For Beginners at Book Boutique, 19 W. Pacific, Henderson, NV onSaturday March 12, 2011, at noon. Also on hand will be her DVDs and back issues of Berserkrgangr Magazine, which she published and edited in the 90s, and information about her ebooks.

Lale's current publishing project is Time Yarns, a shared world universe. Both anthologies and novels are planned. Lale has already accepted two stories for the Time Yarns anthologies, by the extensively published poet Gordon Yaswen and by Tony Thorne MBE, an engineer who invented improvements on cryosurgery tools, carbon fiber furnaces, and AI for business applications. Lale says, "The Time Yarns universe will combine the best of the old, hard science fiction written by scientists, with the best of the new, cutting edge genres like magical realism and bizarro." In Berserkrgangr Magazine, Lale published contemporary otherworlds fiction in the early 90s, when that was cutting edge. Lale says, "Anthologies are the new magazine." The first two anthologies will be Cassandra's Time Yarns and Anarchy Zone Time Yarns.

Asatru For Beginners was Lale's first book. It was first published as an ebook is 2002, followed by a print edition in 2010. Lale has recently published a number of new ebooks, including The Las Vegas Locavore Cookbook; How to Lose at Politics, Or, Not Bad for a Libertarian; Polymath: Collected Nonfiction of Erin Lale (which includes the cookbook and the political book, several academic papers in various fields, and a humorous speech on cell phone techsupport); Renaissance Woman: Collected Art and Poetry of Erin Lale; and Greater Than the Sum of My Parts, a memoir. A companion volume to her other collected works, Universal Genius: Collected Fiction of Erin Lale, will be published under the Time Yarns imprint.
