For almost five decades, Richard Hatch has been a staple for television fans across the globe. From his first appearances on Barnaby Jones and Perry Mason to his portrayal of Wade Walton on the Waltons, they paled in comparison to his work on Battlestar Galactica in 1978.

Though it would last only one season, his role as Captain Apollo would live in infamy for the next forty years and beyond. He would go on to gain another role in Battlestar Galactica, this time in 2004 as Tom Zarek.

At the age of 72, Hatch was taken from us prematurely, passing away February 7, 2017, from pancreatic cancer. Two months prior, he was still doing what he loved most, working as an actor on the set of a sci-fi series. Its name is Blade of Honor, which is currently in post-production in Hollywood, CA.

Though principal photography has been completed, Blade of Honor is raising funds for its post-production budget of $30,000 and has released an Indiegogo campaign, encouraging supporters to help bring Richard Hatch's final project to its full potential.
