Black Momma Vodka Sponsors Local Jack & Jill of America Chapter's All-White Affair for Children's Charity

Penny Lane Centers, a non-profit organization for abused and neglected children, to receive proceeds from the biennial fundraiser

Black Momma Vodka set the stage for the Santa Clarita Valley/ Antelope Valley Chapter of Jack & Jill of America's biennial all-white affair at the Tesoro Clubhouse on April 20. The first vodka brand produced and nationally distributed by and African-American woman sponsored the event's hosted bar for the night and provided top-shelf vodka for over 70 fundraiser attendees.

Proceeds from the all-white affair will benefit Penny Lane Centers in Southern California which provides support and therapeutic services for 3500 abused and neglected children. Additional funds will be given to Jack & Jill of America Foundation, Inc.

"I have been a member of Jack & Jill of America for six years now and this is an amazing group of families who create leadership in and opportunities for our children as well as those around them," said Vanessa Braxton, president & CEO of Black Momma Vodka's parent company, The B4MC Group. "And, when I learned that Penny Lane Centers would benefit from the all-white affair, becoming a sponsor was not even a question, it was an obligation. Black Momma Vodka will be there to support charitable events especially when it's related to any Jack & Jill fundraisers."

Jack & Jill of America, Inc. is an organization of mothers who nurture future leaders by strengthening children between the ages of 2 and 19 through chapter programming, community service, legislative advocacy and philanthropic giving. It has over 220 chapters nationwide and represents over 30,000 family members. Although it's Santa Clarita Valley/ Antelope Valley Chapter was chartered four years ago in 2008, Jack & Jill of America is one of the oldest and largest African-American family organizations in the United States.

"This year's event brought together a group of 70 progressive African-American professionals from the area and it was truly an event," said Florence Lankford, president of the Santa Clarita Valley/ Antelope Valley Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc. "Vanessa did an outstanding job with the bar. She's a dynamic person and an excellent businesswoman."

Black Momma Vodka, a division of The B4MC Group, provided wine and its own flagship vodka for the event's hosted bar while party-goers enjoyed four hours of non-stop music, casino tables, hors d'oeuvres, silent auction and raffle at the biennial fundraiser.
