"I really think this album is my best work, and I can't wait to share it with the world," said Rector.

Rector's known for releasing positivity-infused music that "encapsulates all the warm feelings" (People.com) and the upcoming album is no exception. The songwriter has plans to make 2022 his most successful year yet, with a short film and concert tour to accompany this album. Rector had a noteworthy last year amid the pandemic, with the release of the red-hot tune "Range Rover," which featured industry icon Steve Winwood. The year also brought him a high-profile appearance as an all-star mentor on the ABC hit show American Idol alongside Ryan Tedder, Jewel, Jason Aldean, Brian McKnight, and Joss Stone (among others). Rector spent the majority of his time during the pandemic working on The Joy of Music, to be out in March.
