2019 dermMentors™ Residents of Distinction at the Coastal Dermatology Symposium

As part of the 9th Annual dermMentors™ Resident of Distinction Award™ program, sponsored by Beiersdorf Inc., five dermatology residents attended the 15th Annual Coastal Dermatology Symposium, held in Seattle, Washington, from October 2-5, 2019.

The 2019 dermMentors™ Residents of Distinction™ – Raj Chovatiya, MD, PhD, of the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Dawn Eichenfield, MD, PhD, of the University of California-San Diego School of Medicine, Kimberly Huerth, MD, MEd, of the Howard University College of Medicine, Sarah Lonowski, MD, MBA, of the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, and Jeffrey McBride, MD, PhD, of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine – attended the 2019 Coastal Dermatology Symposium scientific sessions as well as networking events with top thought leaders in dermatology. The residents presented new scientific research during the general sessions on Saturday, October 5.

Raj Chovatiya, MD, PhD, a second-year resident in dermatology at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, was awarded the Overall Grand Prize for his presentation, entitled: “Do Patients with Chronic Inflammatory Skin Diseases Warrant Increased Vaccination for Herpes Zoster?”
