BDI's CAVO™ Home Theater Cabinet Addresses Soundbars Head On

Online, August 30, 2013 (Newswire.com) - As TVs get thinner, their built-in speakers have also shrunk in size, meaning the sound quality that they can provide has deteriorated. All-in-one soundbars, with their affordable cost and ease of installation, are quickly becoming a go-to choice for flat panel TV owners looking for better audio performance than their TV's built-in speakers can provide, but who don't necessarily want the price or complexity of a true 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system. CAVO combines open and enclosed compartments for superior soundbar performance and a unique appearance. Featuring a dedicated platform engineered for soundbars, CAVO provides vital open space allowing full sound dispersion. CAVO's slim profile means a smaller footprint, while side compartments provide space for game systems or media storage. An enclosed lower cabinet keeps components out of sight while still providing remote access via IR-friendly glass doors.

CAVO is available in two sizes, a wide double (model 8168) can accommodate TVs up to 60" and the triple wide low (model 8167), designed for TVs up to 70".

Like all BDI cabinets, CAVO features adjustability and accessibility as a key part of the design, as well as integrated wire-management and built-in ventilation. The CAVO home theater cabinet was designed by Matthew Weatherly and is available in three finish options: natural walnut, graphite and espresso stained oak. Model 8168 is now shipping; 8167 is scheduled to ship in October.
