Adience, a new business-to-business (B2B) market research agency based in New York City, announced its official launch this week.

The agency is designed to fill a void in the research agency landscape by offering a more agile and collaborative approach that means it will be better equipped to respond to current and future business demands.

For example:

  • Research buyers have the opportunity to be significantly more involved, and ‘hands-on’, throughout projects
  • Adience offers training and advice to clients who want to undertake research themselves but who need guidance on best practices

Adience was founded by Chris Wells, a B2B research industry veteran who was previously on the management team of Circle Research, the B2B research specialist that was voted Best Research Agency under £20m turnover at the 2016 MRS Awards before its purchase by MIG Global (now Savanta).

Wells said: “I’m thrilled to announce the official launch of Adience. We believe that the research industry is going to be significantly disrupted by the rise of DIY tools and online marketplaces, among other things. This disruption will mean that the traditional full-service research agency is no longer ‘fit-for-purpose’. The next generation of research agencies has to completely rethink its model for working with clients. Adience has been built with that future in mind.”
