Award Winning Short Films Screen at the Pelham Picture House

On Sunday, January 24th, 8 p.m. at the Pelham Picture House located at 175 Wolfs Lane, Pelham, New York 10803, D'Music Entertainment presents a night of movie magic as they showcase their award winning short film, ROMA: THE SILENT FILM along with another award winning short action movie FUERZA, produced by HenryQ Productions.

ROMA: THE SILENT FILM. It's the story of JOSH, an aspiring pianist who falls in love with ROMA, an elegant theater dancer. Their relationship is challenged by DEAN, her ex-fiancé and vigilant womanizer. This modern day silent film is carried by instrumental music of various genres while keeping to the classic look of black and white cinema.

ROMA: THE SILENT FILM is the winner of the 2015 International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival People's Choice Award.

ROMA: THE SILENT FILM is produced by Adam Gonzalez, Damian Bastar and salsa singer, Frankie Negron. Written by Adam Gonzalez and Damian Bastar. Directed by Adam Gonzalez. Starring FLACO NAVAJA as JOSH, BABYANN HERNANDEZ as ROMA and DARRELL TULCIN as DEAN.

D'Music Entertainment invited HenryQ Productions LLC to screen its award winning short film FUERZA.

FUERZA, (pronounced Foo-where-Sah), is about a woman endowed with superhuman powers that is put to the ultimate test when she must stop a group of supervillains, with extraordinary powers, from destroying her city or be eliminated in the process.

FUERZA is the Winner of the 2015 International Film Festival Manhattan for Best Short Film USA, Winner of the 2015 Urban Action Showcase Short Film Showdown for Best Super Hero Female (FUERZA) and 2015 Urban Action Showcase Special Effects Contest for Best Short Film. It has also been nominated for Best Art Direction for a Short at the 2015 Action on Film International Film Festival.

FUERZA is produced, written and directed by Ralph Henriquez. Starring JESSICA MAS as FUERZA. The villains are played by JENNYMAR HOLMES as ALLURE, EMILIO PANTERO as REBEL, LIZA GALLETTI-RAMIREZ as WRATH and ROY JAMES WILSON as GRAVIS.​
