Award-Winning Family Music Program Announces 50 Weekly Live Online Classes Nationally
LOS ANGELES, March 26, 2020 (Newswire.com) - LoveBug & Me Music has transitioned their award-winning curriculum to an all-online format, allowing parents and their young children to enjoy the joys of music in their own home during the COVID-19 crisis. LoveBug & Me Music teachers, called Magical Music Educators, are teaching a full schedule of live classes every day, 50 options weekly, which include sing-a-longs, dance parties, puppets, creating instruments out of found objects around the house (who knew a macaroni and cheese box could be a shaker?), and a personalized hang out with the beloved mascot, LoveBug. Owner Mary Arden Gorman says, ”During this time of home isolation, parents are wanting to feel connected while bringing some fun into their new 'stay at home' lives. The recent economic downturn has hit small businesses hard, and LoveBug & Me Music is no exception. “Our business model has been in-person classes, and with those halted for now, our income has decreased significantly. But we know that these online classes are a virtual lifeline for some families stuck at home. Even after we return to in-person classes, we will keep our online options so that we continue to offer options to our lovebugs around the world,” says Gorman.
From now until March 29, 2020, LoveBug & Me Music is offering a Virtual Demo Week of free trial classes via Zoom. Beginning March 30, 2020, their new, online, 10-week spring series titled, "Magical Musicals” will begin, focusing on favorite kid-friendly musicals, traditional kids songs, LoveBug & Me originals, and some surprise songs geared towards the parents. Enrollment is now open for the 10-week series as well as drop-in classes, with a free bonus community class each week.
