Online, April 25, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Charlotte author and business coach, Shawn Brodof, will deliver a keynote address at the Fifth Annual Entrepreneurial Success Conference sponsored by Central Piedmont Community College on Wednesday, May 18.
This special half-day event, in recognition of U.S. Small Business Week, provides attendees with an opportunity to gain valuable business advice. The event includes two keynote addresses and a panel discussion with local entrepreneurs. It will be held at the Harris Conference Center located on CPCC's Harris Campus from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Brodof's address will include five mistakes from his book, The Termite Effect - 25 Common Business Mistakes and Their Hidden Consequences, a 2010 Small Business Book Award Winner. The topics he will discuss include: identifying success, understanding your financial statements, differentiating from the competition, the importance of measuring, and proper expectations in establishing a new business.
