Avamere Walks to End Alzheimer's

WILSONVILLE, Ore., September 29, 2021 (Newswire.com) - The Avamere Family of Companies, a group of senior living and healthcare organizations, is sponsoring the Walk to End Alzheimer's again this year.

The Avamere Family of Companies has supported the Alzheimer's Association for many years to give back to the community and support Alzheimer's research. This is also another way to support their memory care residents and their families.

This year, the Avamere Family of Companies is sponsoring five walks, including: Eugene, Portland, Salem, Southern Oregon, and Southwest Washington. For the Portland walk, this includes sponsoring the Promise Garden, where attendees can remember and honor those living with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers.

Other walks Avamere Family of Companies teams are attending include Albany, Bend, and Roseburg.

The events are held in September and October. Participants can register for a walk near them at act.alz.org.
