Barlett shares, "I started drinking shortly after I started smoking cigarettes and weed. The first time was amazing, and I had never felt anything like it before. It was so sublime and this set off an addiction that would destroy my life. I became a hardcore party animal. My whole life I've done everything to the extreme, so partying was no different. I was living a double life until the dark one took control completely. I was an alcoholic, pothead, and drug addict. What started casually for some harmless 'fun' eventually led to chasing after feelings that had me hooked. My motivation for everything was partying, drugs, and alcohol.
