Author Kevin P. Ryan's New Book 'Warfare: An Analysis of Campaigns, Operations and Theories From Antiquity to Present' Examines the Critical Aspects of War

Recent release "Warfare: An Analysis of Campaigns, Operations and Theories from Antiquity to Present" from Newman Springs Publishing author Kevin P. Ryan explains and analyzes battles, campaigns, operations, and military thought and theories, from the Roman conquests to Napoleonic mastery to "blitzkrieg" modern mechanize maneuvers during World War II to the Citadel in Hue City.

Kevin P. Ryan, a combat veteran soldier and historian from Boston, has completed his new book "Warfare: An Analysis of Campaigns, Operations and Theories from Antiquity to Present": an extremely well-researched historical book that covers topics from the Roman conquests to Napoleonic mastery to "blitzkrieg" modern mechanize maneuvers during World War II to the Citadel in Hue City.

Author Kevin P. Ryan is a U.S. Army officer with over 20 years of military service. He is a graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina with a BA in history. He received his MA in military studies from American Military University. He was also an Interagency Fellow with the Department of State.

Kevin P. Ryan introduces his work, writing, "All of what you are about to read is true. I have personally stepped foot on most of the terrain and battlefields during my research, embraced the feelings of that terrain and history, and conducted research on the site. All the places I visited were interesting, and the peoples were helpful, warm, and dedicated to their past. You will experience the dusty plains of North Africa with Scipio Africanus and the rolling hills of Europe as Napoleon marched to victory; you will appreciate the strife the German paratrooper endured on Crete and the bitter coldness of vast mother Russia; you will experience the brutal street fighting in Stalingrad, Hue City and Mogadishu; and you, I hope, will understand some of the theories and maxims of the Great Military thinkers and leaders from antiquity to present. Overall, you will have a greater understanding of warfare and the conduct of campaigns and battles that have been etched into historical eternity."

Published by Newman Springs Publishing, Kevin P. Ryan's military history adventure immerses readers into the battles on the dusty planes of North Africa, the freezing steppe of Russia, or the destroyed rubble and war of rats in Stalingrad.

Readers who wish to experience this engrossing work can purchase "Warfare: An Analysis of Campaigns, Operations and Theories from Antiquity to Present" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iBooks Store, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble.
