Author Dorman Laird's New Book, 'Eight Days That Changed History: Meditations on Palm Sunday to Easter' is a Collection of Lenten Meditations

Recent release "Eight Days that Changed History: Meditations on Palm Sunday to Easter" from Covenant Books author Dorman Laird is a spiritual compilation of Lenten meditations, one for each day that focuses on Jesus' final week.

Dorman Laird, a religion professor of nearly four decades has completed his new book, "Eight Days that Changed History: Meditations on Palm Sunday to Easter":  a beautiful collection of Lenten meditations.

In one such meditation, Laird shares, " There are no terms of agreement that sinners can negotiate with God in order to gain his favor. We have no standing in God's court on which to plea-bargain with God. We cannot make a deal, cannot earn, cannot buy, and cannot win atonement on the basis of honor, merit, social status, or good deeds. Except for God's forgiveness that comes to us by his grace, we would not have hope."

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Dorman Laird's new book offers peace and encouragement through each meditation, one for each of the forty days of Lent, spanning through Jesus' final week.

Readers can purchase "Eight Days that Changed History: Meditations on Palm Sunday to Easter" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon or Barnes & Noble.
