Adults and kids (as young as five) will travel by raft or inflatable kayak down 60 miles of Idaho's Salmon River, famous for its playful rapids, massive sandy beaches and historic Nez Perce Indian sites on this five-day Salmon River family adventure. Trips are staffed with a, "River Jester", who leads nature-oriented games and activities for kids of all ages. Families begin and end the trip in Lewiston, Idaho and can choose from nine departures throughout the summer. Rates are $1,638 for adults and $1,438 for children and include most meals, pre-post trip lodging, transfers to the put-in and from the take-out, all equipment, guides, special kid's meals and land and water access fees.
In total, Austin-Lehman Adventures offers 16 separate itineraries that include whitewater rafting for the 2011 season.
