Art Gallery Weekend Event Series: The Female Form -
Bellevue, PA, May 27, 2016 (Newswire.com) - The Artists’ Gallery is pleased to announce a group exhibition in which the female body is represented in a variety of artistic contexts. The show features the Digital Paintings of a well-known local artist Tyler Cairns, the Female Form presented by Miser in BW, the stunning framed piece of Living Art created by Kayleen Germanich entitled “Girl in the Frame”, and body paintings of the most celebrated super heroines by Caleb Green.
The artwork exhibited by Miser and Tyler will be for sale and ready to be brought home. Come out and support Pittsburgh’s local artists during the “Artists’ Gallery Weekend Event Series installation and maybe even bring home their work!
Once again, the Artists' Gallery is excited to present the great jazz sounds of the “Dante Romito Band" on Friday and Saturday evening.
Miser
Using the delicate beauty of the human physique, these photographs employ soft lighting and detailed composition to accent the graceful poses of each subject. The beauty of this series is not the way nudity is employed to create art, but the way each body tells a separate, powerful story.
Tyler Cairns
Tyler Cairns is a digital illustrator. Tyler's work is heavily influenced by the media seen as a child growing up in the 90s from Saturday morning cartoons and video games to action figures. The bold colors brings characters to life, begging them to pop out of the second dimension. Each piece bleeds time and devotion, going through the steps of a true cartoonist.
Caleb Green
Caleb Green is an artist specializing in body painting from the Pittsburgh area. Caleb began his work in club promotions and now uses his talents for visual and living art. The intense realism in his work fools many of its viewers, an aspect of the work that Caleb enjoys. Caleb paints what he sees and pours perfection into each piece he creates.
Dante Romito Band
The “Dante Romito Band”, consisting of Dante Romito on guitar, Delvon Anderson on drums, and Regis White on bass, is a newly formed instrumental rock group from Pittsburgh. They are influenced by jazz music and appreciate the authenticity in pure instrumental music. To them, music is a gift and is a connector across all cultures; it is a universal language.
Kayleen Germanich
Kayleen Germanich is a prospering professional make up artist from Pittsburgh. As a self-taught artist, Kayleen further developed the talents by attending the Joe Blasco Make-Up Training Center. Kayleen has a passion for pin-up make up but has a full range of skills from horror and special effects makeup to glamour and runway. Kayleen truly does it all and there are no limits to her work.
Mary Hannah Hart
Mary Hannah has been modeling for three years and has been involved in an interesting range of shoots. Mary Hannah likes creative photography and the open-minded approach has opened doors and opportunities to experiment. Mary Hannah is athletic and the range for artistic expression is unlimited.
Alison Sacriponte & Kalina Gardiner
Alison Sacriponte and Kalina Gardiner are rising models from Pittsburgh. As artists, they appreciate seeing themselves from the other side of the lens, working with a focus on portrait and environmental modeling.
The Artists’ Gallery is hosting the Art Gallery Weekend Event Series; exciting exhibitions to be held on the last Friday and Saturday of each month. The exhibitions will be held with opening night receptions on each night! Now patrons can enjoy the warm ambience that comes with an opening night on both Friday and Saturday evenings. Meet and greet the artists, discover their inspirations, and enjoy the fun of an opening night reception.
