ArcheMedX Growth Trajectory Accelerates, Attracting More Capital and Expanding Leadership Team
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., October 26, 2017 (Newswire.com) - ArcheMedX, a healthcare informatics and e-learning technology company, has experienced explosive growth and attracted $2.5 million in equity financing to accelerate the company’s transformation of online health professional education and training.
In the past year, ArcheMedX has doubled their customer base of academic medical centers, pharmaceutical industry leaders, professional societies, and medical education companies that utilize their award-winning digital training platform. The company’s suite of digital learning and analytics products now powers more than 400 interactive and data-driven online training activities, collecting valuable insights from tens of thousands of clinicians, and improving the knowledge and competence of healthcare professionals at more than four times the level of traditional online education.
To support this increasing momentum, ArcheMedX recently closed $2.5 million in equity financing led by prominent early-stage investors Jaffray Woodriff and Greyson Williams. This additional capital will be utilized to meet expanding product demand while positioning the company for long-term growth. Funds will be used to expand engineering to deliver an extended product roadmap and to build a sales and marketing organization that will accelerate progress.

Leadership Team Expands
Since closing the financing, ArcheMedX has added three industry veterans to the leadership team and is currently recruiting for a variety of engineering, product management, and marketing positions located at the Company’s headquarters in Charlottesville, Virginia.

He brings to the company 20 years of software engineering and technology leadership experience, including previous tenures with Sony Computer Entertainment, Wordnik, DreamWorks Animation and Branagh Information Group.
Lucian Taylor, who has led product development at Microsoft, Autodesk, Rosetta Stone, and PDR Network, joins ArcheMedX as Vice President of Product Management. Kenny Cox, a very well-respected industry leader and former Vice President of myCME, has been recruited to serve as Vice President of Continuing Medical Education to expand the company's core medical education market.
