The conference, attended by 250 delegates, was held from June 13th to June 19th and comprised of several presentations given by leaders and top performers in the organisation. Appco Group R&R is always looked upon as a vital event which motivates and empowers the newest generation of leaders coming through the organisation, by providing them with an opportunity to hear from and network with the senior management team.

Each division - Sports, Support, Pay TV, Prosales and Energy - held separate meetings where they covered points relevant to their particular industry. By Friday, June 17th, most delegates were familiar with one another as they had mingled over the gala dinner, which was held in the Daintree rainforest. The formal part of the 2011 Australia and New Zealand R&R concluded on June 17th afternoon and then the delegates were free to enjoy and explore Port Douglas. Delegates spent the weekend at the Great Barrier Reef, fishing, relaxing on the beach, or taking part in a competition at the resorts award-winning golf course.

Appco Group sources have revealed that the 2011 R&R conference was an even greater success than that of 2010.
