Announcing the 2013 Biblical Archaeology Society Publication Awards Winners

The Biblical Archaeology Society is pleased to announce its 2013 Publication Awards Winners, as featured in the September/October issue of Biblical Archaeology Review.

The BAS Publication Awards recognize the best books published in the past two years relating to archaeology and the Bible. Submissions are evaluated by a panel of peers. Authors of winning books receive an certificate honoring their achievement, as well as an award of $500 for each category. These prestigious awards are made possible by a grant from Frederick L. Simmons, Esq. The formal announcement appears in the current issue of Biblical Archaeology Review. For more information, please visit the Biblical Archaeology Society (BAS) website.
