Analytics Expert Ashley Kramer Joins Sisense as First Chief Product Officer
NEW YORK, June 15, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Sisense, the world’s leading analytics platform for builders, today announced it has appointed Ashley Kramer (formerly of Alteryx) as Chief Product and Marketing Officer. Ashley, along with Shelly Landsmann (formerly of Microsoft), Vice President of International Sales and Global Alliances, and Sarah Ward (formerly of MongoDB), General Counsel, are all industry heavyweights in their respective fields and the newest members of Sisense’s leadership team. With the addition of Ashley, Sisense’s core executive operating team now comprises 50% women — including Chief Customer Officer, Chief People Officer, and Chief Product and Marketing Officer.
“Finding exceptional executive talent who meet our standards for perpetuating a people-first and customer-obsessed culture is no easy task,” said Amir Orad, CEO at Sisense. “Given one of our core values is inclusion, I’m especially excited to see so many accomplished women choosing Sisense. Ashley, for example, is joining Sisense as our first-ever Chief Product and Marketing Officer to expand our delivery of agile analytics at scale. I couldn’t be happier to welcome all three new leaders—Ashley Kramer, Shelly Landsmann, and Sarah Ward — to Sisense in such essential positions.”
In this new role, Ashley leads the Sisense product and marketing organizations, setting strategy and vision for the Sisense analytics platform and communicating its value to the industry. Steeped in analytics, Ashley has a track record of transforming analytics companies and positioning them for growth. As SVP of Product at Alteryx, Ashley led the company’s transformation to a data science platform. As Head of Cloud for Tableau Software, she led the company’s transition to a SaaS platform. Ashley has also served in key roles at Amazon, Oracle, and NASA.
An innate builder, Shelly Landsmann joins Sisense as Vice President of International Sales and Global Alliances and is responsible for the development of worldwide customer channels aimed at both fortifying and building new partnerships with the major cloud vendors. Prior to Sisense, Shelly served as Microsoft Israel’s CEO, where she led the business and operations of Microsoft throughout Israel. She also served in roles such as CMO of Enterprise Services and as Public Sector lead.
As General Counsel, Sarah Ward leads Sisense’s global legal team and legal strategy with an eye toward helping Sisense scale. Previously she was Assistant General Counsel, playing a large role guiding MongoDB through its IPO process. Before that, she was Senior Corporate Counsel for Securities and M&A at Criteo. Sarah is a member of Women in America, an organization dedicated to women’s networking, mentoring, and education.
The executive appointment of these accomplished women underscores the importance that Sisense places on its company values — authentic, inclusive, caring, customer-obsessed, and challengers to the status quo. All three of these new leaders embody the company’s values and bring with them experience scaling companies of varied size to complement Sisense’s growth trajectory.
