AMW, Client Partner With the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to Raise Funds

AMW announces its client partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to help raise funds to help find a cure for breast cancer.

AMW will be working hard to grow its client’s market share in order to drive the fund raising effort. In a truly win-win situation, by increasing the client’s revenues, AMW is also helping find a cure for breast cancer. The firm will also be simultaneously raising awareness for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

He went on to explain that an important part of AMW’s culture is giving back to the community. This initiative allows the team to leverage their promotional skills to help raise funds and awareness for an important cause that many of the firm’s marketing specialists have some personal experience with. “Nearly everyone on our team has a friend or family member who has struggled with breast cancer” said Houtz. “That’s part of the reason we’re working so hard for this campaign.”

In previous years, AMW’s client has donated up to $2.5 million through the same initiative. This has made the client one of the top five donors to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Houtz and his team are hoping to raise that number to over $3 million this year.

AMW is Fighting For an Important Cause

 The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is one of the premier organizations working to cure breast cancer. According to the organization, roughly one in eight women will get this form of cancer at some point in their life. It is because of this that the foundation was formed to provide funding to research and raise public awareness of breast cancer.

Known for its transparency and dedication, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation spends 91% of all contributions directly on research an awareness programs. The remaining funds are used to pay for various administrative functions. This ratio is significantly higher than the average for charities, meaning that more of contributions made to the foundation are being used to directly fight breast cancer.

Although there is currently no known cure for cancer, the research funded by the foundation has already led to better, more targeted treatment and improved outcomes. “This is a truly worthy cause” states Houtz. “It has our team fired up and motivated to work. Our goal on increasing this year’s donation to $3 million is a big ambition and we’re excited to meet it.”
