Los Angeles, CA, February 18, 2015 (Newswire.com) - AMPAC USA Helps the Red Cross Society
AMPAC USA has succeeded in helping the Red Cross Society in Uribia La Guajira, Colombia by supplying its most recent Water Purification System. Ampac USA has designed and fabricated the Sea Water Desalination Watermaker (Mobile) SWRO100K-LX quickly and efficiently in order to help the Red Cross Society Workers and the local residents to have free access to pure drinking water. This project was completed in January 2015 and the latest reports state that the Red Cross Society is well satisfied with the results.
Quality is a must for Ampac USA and they are very proud of this attribute to their company.
Sammy A. Farag, CEO
Commenting on the latest development, AMPAC USA stated “When we got the order from Red Cross Society, we took it as a challenge as the task was to be completed in a very short amount of time, and in a very compact mobile trailer. Our best engineers took it upon themselves to design and build the watermaker in a perfect manner. It just took a few days to build the system and the results have been satisfactory.”
It is worthwhile to mention that he was the one who led the team and played a vital role in manufacturing the Seawater Desalination Watermaker. He proudly stated the features of the mobile seawater desalination watermaker manufactured for the Red Cross by adding “The Advanced Emergency Disaster Relief Mobile Seawater Desalination Reverse Osmosis Watermaker from AMPAC USA is capable of converting 100,000 Gallons of Seawater to Pure Drinking Water on a daily basis (which actually comes down to 387m³/day). The Red Cross representatives no longer experience scarcity of pure water in that area anymore since they commissioned this amazing watermaker.”
He also explained the process adopted by the watermaker in brief by adding “This Mobile Based Sea Water Desalination Watermaker is fully automated SWRO and can operate at full efficiency. The seawater desalination process includes Pre-Treatment, Sea Water Desalination, Reverse Osmosis Process, Post Treatment and On-Demand Delivery to Point of Use.”
The Mobile Watermaker features an Energy Recovery Booster Device that saves about 70% of the total power consumption by transferring the pressure from the reject water back to the feed via this turbo charger.
The Watermaker is also equipped with a Microprocessor Controller that features an alphanumeric backlit Touchscreen LCD to display and control operations and conditions, providing adjustable time delays and set points to accommodate variable field conditions. The Microprocessor system monitors and controls operation of system and communicates with pretreatment equipment and distribution tank levels as required. The Microprocessor is also equipped with Remote Communications capabilities to control and monitor the Watermaker remotely over the internet.
Quality is a must for Ampac USA and they are very proud of this attribute to their company. When asked about the quality used in creating the watermaker the CEO happily elaborated “The Seawater Desalination Watermaker is fully built on a Three Tandem Axle Heavy Duty Trailer for rugged conditions using good industrial practices, paying extreme attention to craftsmanship and integrating the most reliable name brand components in the water purification industry.”
AMPAC USA is delighted about the prospect of helping the Red Cross Society in the future and based on AMPAC USA’s track record and experience deploying advanced Seawater Desalination Watermakers to every continent and ocean on the planet, the Red Cross can be confident that their Watermaker will last for years and years to come.
