Ameredia Named a Fast 50 Asian American Business
The US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce selects multicultural marketing agency as a leading Asian-owned enterprise.
Online, June 27, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Ameredia, the San Francisco-based multicultural advertising agency, was selected in May as a "Fast 50 Asian American Business" by the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce.
Selection was determined by percentage revenue growth over the past three years and required that companies have at least 51 percent Asian American ownership. Finalists were independently verified by KPMG, the accounting firm.
Ameredia was joined by other up-and-coming companies from the technology, communications and engineering sectors whose collective revenue for last year was over $3.8 billion. The Fast 50 awards were presented on May 24 during USPAACC's flagship CelebrAsian Business Opportunity Conference at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. The event saw more than 800 attendees representing Fortune 500 corporations, Asian American businesses and government agencies, including Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.
"USPAACC has always taken great pride in recognizing and showcasing the continued robust growth shown by Asian American-owned businesses across industries--even during challenging economic times," said Susan Au Allen, USPAACC National President and CEO. "We congratulate Ameredia for making it into our Fast 50 Asian American Businesses--proof positive that through innovation, hard work, and ingenuity, Asian Americans can effectively compete in the mainstream and remain at the forefront as catalysts to the revitalization of our national economy."
This marks the second consecutive year that Ameredia receives the Fast 50 recognition. Earlier this year the agency was selected as a Top Business in America by DiversityBusiness.com, winning five awards including "Top 100 Diversity Owned Businesses in California" and "Top 100 Subcontinent Asian American Businesses in the U.S."
The recent milestones underscore Ameredia's consistent and robust growth since its inception in 2003, and add to the agency's running list of industry-wide recognitions such as the Excellence in Multicultural Marketing, American Design, Communicator, Hermes, Mark and TELLY awards, among others.
