VisiShred is a data destruction technology that creates instant, high definition videos of electronics assets as they are destroyed.

Through VisiShred, University of Maryland staff will have access to an online portal to monitor and track their electronic assets as they are transported to Akooba’s data destruction facility. Videos of each asset’s destruction will be made immediately available on the web portal, allowing UMD to provide visual evidence of each drive’s destruction.
