Agents Sharpen Skills for Marketing Luxury Properties

Company provides two day training event to assist REALTORS with servicing and marketing to the luxury home client.

RE/MAX Excalibur made plans to provide its own agents with advanced education in luxury property marketing, but instead opened its doors and invited others to participate. The result was an especially dynamic event, as more than 75 agents – some from as far away as Florida and New York – participated in two intensive days of professional development conducted by the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing.  The agents gathered on Wednesday and Thursday at the Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors. Their focus: serving luxury clients in a truly elevated manner.

The educational course, leading to the renowned Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) professional designation, reinforced RE/MAX Excalibur's industry leadership and longtime commitment to raising standards of service.

"In the luxury space, the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing is the gold standard of education. The attendees enjoyed learning best practices and how to become even more valuable to their luxury clients. And we were thrilled to be able to share the experience with colleagues from out of state. This was a great reminder of why RE/MAX agents are the best in the world at what they do."

"RE/MAX agents constantly seize opportunities to improve their skills, increase their knowledge and discover new, innovative ways to serve their clients," says Howard Lein, President of RE/MAX Excalibur. Gayle Henderson, a RE/MAX Excalibur luxury specialist who helped organize the event, was pleased to see her colleagues so invested in developing their abilities.

"The most successful real estate agents are those who put their clients' interests first and maintain a never-ending thirst for knowledge," says Henderson, who joined RE/MAX in 1998. "It starts with being willing to put everything you have into the profession. Our clients deserve nothing less."

Since the great recession, the luxury home market has been building momentum.  But the number of high-end home sales has not kept pace with the number agents entering the market.  Quality education provides the competitive edge that agents need to better serve their clients and differentiate themselves in a crowded field.
