Adirondack Peach Launches Line of Rustic Signs for Those Who Call the Adirondacks Home

Sought after for her Adirondack themed artwork, Brooke Varner, owner and creator at Adirondack Peach, is set to release 10 new hand-painted signs on April 6th, 2017.

This Is Home Collection by Adirondack Peach

Adirondack Peach, a handmade company that specializes in rustic, Adirondack themed home decor, introduces the highly anticipated launch of their This Is Home Collection.  Designed for those that consider the Adirondacks home, the collection showcases signs made exclusively to reflect the Adirondack Park located in upstate New York.

“The Adirondacks are so much more than a park and I made this collection specifically with that in mind.  The Adirondack Park is a unique place where man and wild live together.  There’s no other place like it in the U.S.”  - Brooke Varner | Owner/Creator Adirondack Peach

"The Adirondacks are so much more than a park and I made this collection specifically with that in mind. The Adirondack Park is a unique place where man and wild live together. There's no other place like it in the U.S."

This collection of natural pine wood signs, finished with her signature, distressed look, reflect the rustic, worn, well-loved feel of the Adirondacks and highlight the very thing that makes the Adirondacks one of the most unique places in the world – the opportunity to live in and explore the largest publicly protected area in the contiguous United States.

It’s this uniqueness that Varner focuses on in her artwork.  The new collection features signs that can be customized by color and by location.  Not just mountain decor or lake decor, Varner’s signs are unmistakably Adirondack decor.  This distinction is important to the people that love the park.

Taking center stage in the collection is her Adirondack Rules sign. This first edition sign features sayings like, “Hike a mountain”, “Sleep under the stars”, “Listen to the Loons” and seven other Adirondack specific activities.  Everything on the sign can be found in the backyards of homes, cabins, and hotels within the park, encompassing what everyday life in the Adirondacks is like.

Based off of her 2016, best-selling, Home sign, Varner is releasing three additional variations: Love, Welcome, and Adirondacks. Varner reflected on the Home sign as being what prompted the ideas for this new collection.  The ‘o’ in each word is replaced with a silhouette of the Adirondack Park along with a heart that can be placed over any location in the park.  These along with seven other designs will be released next Thursday.

Whether it’s a permanent residence, a family camp, a particular place to ski or a town that’s visited and revisited over and over again, Varner is making it possible for people to bring the Adirondacks home with them - whether they live in or out of the park.
