ADDPLUS Inc. to Introduce the HiiTCHECK Thermometer, a New Way to Check and Manage Health Conditions Based on Body Temperature Readings
SEOUL, South Korea, October 13, 2021 (Newswire.com) - Traditional consumer thermometers give people very little information and, at times, only add unnecessary anxiety should the temperature readings be inaccurate. To solve those issues, healthcare product makers ADDPLUS is looking to launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the company's newest compact and smart thermometer HiiTCHECK. The battery-less HiiTCHECK thermometer is an end-to-end device that can be plugged into any USB-C mobile device and be used to help individuals check their body temperature, understand the impact that the results can have on their overall health condition, and give them directions to their nearest local hospital or pharmacy if necessary through the HiiTCHECK app.
With the goal of having the HiiTCHECK thermometer help its users stay informed and aware of only the most relevant information about the condition of their body, ADDPLUS prioritized the thermometer's speed and accuracy during the development. The core of the thermometer's technology lies in its MELEXIS infrared sensor and temperature-reading algorithm. Speed is achieved by the MELEXIS infrared sensors, which allow the thermometer to measure a person's body temperature in just under a second at a click of a button. Accuracy is achieved by the temperature-reading algorithm that was specifically developed to measure temperature readings off of human skin. As a result, the HiiTCHECK thermometer was able to minimize the margin of error to ± 0.1°C.
The HiiTCHECK thermometer also comes with an app that gives users the option to track their body temperature over a period of time. The app will analyze the data and display any irregularities and what the irregularities might mean when it comes to the user's unique overall health condition. This can also be helpful for specialized health circumstances as well. For example, women looking to conceive can track their menstrual or ovulation cycle by examining the relationship between these cycles and their body temperatures. Should the user require any medical care, directions to the nearest hospital or pharmacy can be found straight from the HiiTCHECK app.
For maximum convenience, the cradle that houses the HiiTCHECK thermometer can be attached to the back of a smartphone. The cradle also has a smartphone ring that allows for greater control and also doubles as a kickstand to make it easier to watch videos or video chat. Additional features and details can be found on the HiiTCHEK Kickstarter campaign page.
ADDPLUS has announced that the Kickstarter campaign for the HiiTCHECK thermometer will be launching on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, at 9 p.m. PT. Prices for a single HiiTCHECK thermometer will start at $91 and will be exclusive for Kickstarter backers.
