Joseph Koch joins ABSC as the company looks towards rapid growth in 2015
Herndon, VA, December 29, 2014 (Newswire.com) - ABSc is proud and honored to welcome Joseph Koch as the new Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Koch joins the team with over 25 years of government sector experience. He is a recognized industry leader whose expertise of the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, and Department of Homeland Security will help to further develop ABSc’s strong presence as a small business government contractor.
Before joining ABSc, Mr. Koch worked as a Senior Director and business unit manager for Sotera Defense Solutions, Inc. He led, managed and maintained the company’s INSCOM programs and supported the growth goals of an opportunity pipeline of over $7 billion. Prior to this role, his work in the government sector included strategic and tactical intelligence analysis, mission management, oversight of data analysis and visualization applications, and the responsibility of customer engagement and marketing programs and projects. Mr. Koch’s success results from a deep, focused understanding of customer and mission requirements and from utilizing research and analytics to form strategic and tactical solutions and teaming alliances.

Mr. Koch is the recipient of the Military Intelligence Corps Association’s Knowlton Award for excellence in intelligence operations. He received his M.S. in Strategic Intelligence from the Joint Military Intelligence College at DIA in Washington, D.C. and his B.S. in Korean and German Liberal studies from the University of the State of New York. Mr. Koch also attended the Defense Language Institute where he studied Korean, German and Vietnamese. He is a certified Project Manager Professional (PMP).
