Abacus Group Hires ConvergEx Exec as Chief Financial Officer
New York, July 22, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Abacus Group LLC, a leading provider of hosted IT solutions for hedge funds and private equity funds, today announced that it has hired Jonathan Bohrer as Chief Financial Officer, effective June 30th 2014. Jonathan will be based in New York and will report to Chris Grandi, Chief Executive Officer of Abacus Group.
Jonathan brings over 18 years of experience in finance and operations across a diverse set of industries. As CFO, he will oversee the company’s financial and accounting activities along with other administrative and operational functions including human resources, real estate and legal. Most recently he served as Managing Director of Finance at ConvergEx Group, responsible for financial analysis, M&A, capital planning and new product development. While at ConvergEx, he led efforts on several corporate transactions including five acquisitions (LiquidPoint, Millennium, NorthPoint, Cogent and Realtick) and the sale of Eze Software Group in 2013.
