Online, June 7, 2012 (Newswire.com) - A+ Moving and Storage of Fayetteville is excited to announce portable storage is available immediately for customers interested in packing their own container. The new program will feature on-site container drop-offs and pick-ups. Packed storage containers will be stored at one of their many storage facilities in the area.

"It's for customers who want to pack up their belongings themselves, but have a moving company haul it. We bring you the container, pick it up when you're done, bring it to you when you're ready to unpack, and pick it up again when you're done with it," Jerry Hare, A+ owner & operator, explained.
A+ Moving and Storage offers full service moving and storage in the Fayetteville, NC, Fort Bragg, and surrounding areas. This newest venture helps ease the burden of getting stuff into a storage facility, by allowing individuals to pack the actual unit on site. Transportation of the storage container is facilitated by A+, but packing and storage is at the discretion of the customer.

In addition to the new portable storage program, A+ Moving and Storage announced the addition of 10,000 square feet of space dedicated for vehicle, boat, and RV storage. Besides that, they also acquired three warehouses for additional storage, making a total of over 65,000 square feet of storage space. Since the area has a large military personnel presence, Hare says creating easy storage and moving option for military families is a primary goal. "We provide vehicle storage with a monthly start-up service that includes your engine started, the heating and air conditioning systems cycled on and off, and your vehicle is moved around within the facility. It's so engines and auto systems don't suffer from prolonged inactivity," he explained.

A+ was awarded the military service relocation contract for Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The contract authorizes the procurement of local relocation services to and from the Fort Bragg and Pope AFB areas, as well as "Area 2", which includes the northern and western parts of North Carolina. The award of the contract to a locally owned and operated business brings revenue back into the Fayetteville economic area. The previous contractor had a local agent, but was headquartered out of state. The contract award also supplements the current military transportation services that A+ provides, which includes Code 1 and Code 2 moves across the United States.
