5pm Association Program Brings A Central Restaurant Reservation Portal To State Restaurant Associations

Industry Proven Restaurant Reservation Portal Offers Alternative to Current OpenTable Monopoly

5pm Limited (5pm) today announced the launch of the 5pm Association Program, an opportunity for the 50 State Restaurant Associations of North America to host their own state-wide online table reservation portal for their restaurant members. Following a decade of success and continued development in the United Kingdom, 5pm is offering its award winning, industry proven Restaurant Reservation Portal as an alternative to the current OpenTable monopoly in the USA.

The 5pm Association Program provides Simple Electronic Reservation Book (simpleERB), a cloud based reservation solution operating on any browser or iPad locally at each restaurant to manage all their reservations. Website and Facebook widgets allow reservations to be taken from the restaurant's own website and Facebook pages for free. The Restaurant Reservation Portal operated on behalf of the State Restaurant Association would provide a central gateway for customers to book their favorite restaurants statewide.

"While there have been many new entrants to the table reservation market, such as Urbanspoon, CityEats and Eveve, all trying to gain a share of the OpenTable revenue stream, we think that we serve the restaurateur's interests better by being more flexible", said Ronnie Somerville CEO of 5pm.

"Restaurateurs' want a robust, reliable, business proven solution that can accommodate their regular local guests and attract new out of town business, but at an affordable price."

Somerville continued: "in reaching out to the State Restaurant Associations and their members, we want to assist them to keep more of their revenue dollars in the restaurant industry, to help with the good work the Associations do on their behalf."

5pm will be attending the upcoming NRA Show in Chicago on 5th-8th May and look forward to meeting many State Restaurant Associations and individual restaurants during this time.
