4th Annual Toy Run With Ipswich and Logan Police

Massive Charity Event with over 500 Motorcycles led by Logan & Ipswich Police

4th Annual Gasoline Alley Toy Run

On November 26, 2016, Gasoline Alley Harley-Davidson is hosting its 4th Annual Toy Run from Limestone Park in Ipswich to the Dealership in Springwood to raise funds for SE QLD Salvation Army and Ronald MacDonald House.

This Charity Motorcycle Ride is a 65 km journey down 4 major motorways with over 500 Motorcycles (5 km long parade).  This event would not be possible without the amazing work of the Logan and Ipswich Police Departments.  They lead Santa and all of the riders from Limestone Park Netball Carpark in Ipswich on Salisbury Road through Warwick Road to Cunningham Highway, to Logan Motorway, to Ipswich Motorway, to Drews Road, then onto the Pacific Motorway taking exit 24 to Gasoline Alley at 3445 Pacific Hwy, Slacks Creek.

Last Year was our biggest and most successful year, raising $15,000 and over 500 toys for the Salvation Army.  This year our goal is to top that with hopefully 600 – 700 motorcycles and $20,000 + the 600 – 700 toys.

There will be a sausage sizzle at Limestone Park, Registrations run from 8 till 9:30am.  Speeches then commence with a speaker from Mayor Paul Pisasale’s office and a speech from the Ipswich Police Inspector Keith MacDonald. When we arrive at the Dealership at 11:15 everyone puts their toys under the Christmas tree and we have a Charity BBQ, Live Band, Jumping Castle, Charity Beer Gardens and speeches at noon.

We would love for more community involvement and to let the public know about the Toy Run to avoid traffic issues on our journey.  We have delivered notices to 6000 Residences in Ipswich to warn them of the event and the noise caused by so many motorcycles.
