300 Women to Gather in Brooklyn for Challah Bake Led by Five Star Diamond Award Winning Chef, Sara Briman

Brooklyn, NY, May 13, 2015 (Newswire.com) - 300 women from around the Tri-State area will join together for Challah On The Park, a community challah-baking event led by Sara Briman, chef of Hotel Encanto Acapulco in Mexico, whose challah won the American Academy of Hospitality Science's prestigious Five Star Diamond Award. At the event, Jewish women from all walks of life will learn the art of challah-making as each attendee readies her own challah. www.ChallahOnThePark.com

The event, which takes place at 7:30pm on Thursday, May 14, at the Prospect Park Picnic House (95 Prospect Park West) is co-sponsored by a range of community organizations as an opportunity for women and girls 12 and older from diverse backgrounds to come together and create something special.

Women who participate in Challah On The Park will be provided with all the necessary ingredients for making a traditional kosher challah. For gluten-free participants, a special challah-baking table will also offer instruction on how to make an equally delicious challah free of gluten.
