2012 Masters Champion Takes Delivery of His New Stradalli Salerno Carbon Bike
Online, November 26, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Stradalli Cycle, the high performance carbon bicycle manufacturer, is pleased to announce that Fabio Carvalho Leopoldo, a 2012 masters champion and runner-up in the 2012 Brasileiro cross country, has taken delivery of a new Stradalli Salerno full carbon road bike.
Brazilian born Leopoldo is a successful professional cyclist who has won numerous competitions during his riding career. As well as taking the second place during the 2012 Brasileiro cross country event, Fabio was on the podium for the 2009 and 2011 Lugar Iron Biker Brazil events. He also finished in the top ten of the 2012 four stage Lugar Climb.
The carbon frame of the Stradalli Salerno was designed especially for Shimano Di2 or Campagnolo EPS electronic shifting. The frame includes space to mount the battery pack without the use of adapters or brackets, plus it has over-sized holes for the internal cable routing. Making this one of the most advanced frames Stradalli has ever released. "Getting a vote of confidence from a top athlete always makes me happy, it proves yet again the quality of our bikes," said Thomas Steinbacher of Stradalli. "I am sure that Fabio will find that the Salerno is one of the quickest yet most comfortable road bikes he has ever ridden."
The all new 2013 Salerno is made from the same 100% 3k carbon fiber as used in Stradalli's most popular bikes. It has a tensile strength of 50 tons per square cm and has an exterior weave of 3000 weaves per crossing (3K).
