Over 380 Oracle users and partners came together on March 17th for the annual Red Rock Oracle Leadership Forum held at Luna Park Sydney to discuss and share insights around all aspects of Oracle Applications and the Oracle Technology stack.

This was the 6th Red Rock Oracle Leadership Forum, which is now widely recognised by the industry as the leading Oracle Partner event in Australia and New Zealand. The Forum comprised 4 streams covering a range of topics including: Oracle Applications, Technology, Fusion Middleware, Enterprise Content Management, BI, Managed Services, Virtualisation and Cloud Computing. The day included keynotes from industry leaders, customer case studies and partner demonstrations serving the promise of "1 Day - 1 Forum - Many Minds".

The keynote sessions were led by Jonathan Rubinsztein (Red Rock Consulting, CEO), followed by Ian White's (Oracle Corporation, Group Vice President & ANZ Regional Managing Director) overview of Oracle's current business in Australia and New Zealand. Roland Slee (Oracle Corporation, Vice President) excited the crowd with Oracle's 2011 $4 billion plan to transform enterprise IT. While, Paul Thorley (Capgemini, CEO) and Ben Gilchriest (Capgemini, Director) gave an insightful presentation on digital transformation and digital social customer relationship management (SCRM).

Red Rock made an exclusive announcement of a joint promotion with IBM, announcing to JD Edwards ERP application customers an offer to reduce the cost of JDE technology installation and upgrades.

The day was finished on a high with giant slides, gravity wheels, canapes and coronas at Coney Island. Red Rock definitely know how to hold the number 1 Oracle Partner event whilst having fun... seriously.
