Petoskey's 10th Annual Festival on the Bay will celebrate all that this waterfront community has to offer with three days of great music, family events, bay cruises, and breathtaking sunsets. All festival activities will be held on the waterfront in Petoskey, Michigan, along the shores of Lake Michigan.

Festival on the Bay will be held August 17-19, 2012, with events and activities for people of all ages along the picturesque bay front of Little Traverse Bay - from the Arboretum and the Little Traverse Wheelway to Festival Place and the beautiful Bear River.

"Our 10th year will be the biggest and best festival our community has ever seen," said Kathy Bardins, Festival Coordinator. "The festival committee is working hard to bring new events and a wide variety of music, plus so many great local businesses and nonprofit organizations continue to be involved."

* Music ranging from Blues to Rock to Reggae

Festival-goers will find traditional favorites such as the Corporate Challenge, Celebration of the Sunset, Keweenaw Star cruises, Jiimaan canoe rides, Chalk and Chocolate Festival, Youth Fishing Derby, Bear River duck race, sporting events, arts and crafts fair, tasty food concessions, and a music line-up that will entertain everyone.
