Halo vs Destiny - a Battle of Laughs
SALT LAKE CITY, November 12, 2015 (Newswire.com) - YouTube Channel Freakin Rad has joined forces with Vizibility Zero in their recent gamer video “Halo vs Destiny” where Master Chief and his fellow Spartans banter with Destiny Guardians, mock their respective AI, and of course break out in a live action duel.
The film is not only a new collaboration, but represents the merging of the two channels and is their formal launch as a new entity. Where many YouTube fan films may only have action or special effects, Halo vs Destiny goes beyond. It was shot in 4k on a Red Epic camera in order to capture live action special effects, play in slow motion, as well as support high quality CG visual effects.
"YouTube is a place where you can create without boundaries. A lot of the content we will produce, you can't get anywhere else. I'm excited to see what this new team comes up with together."
Boston McConnaughey, Founder, Filmmaker
All technical specs aside, the film is just funny with a classic surprise ending cameo and a script laced with taunting one-liners that bring humor to the war driven worlds that appeal to gamers and non gamers alike.
Sam Hudgins of Vizibility Zero says, “I am excited to merge our talent sets and push forward trying to make and do things people have not made or done before. We will be moving forward and turning a lot of heads in the process.”
Also of Vizibility Zero, Zeb Jackson says, “I'm excited to mix the world of visual effects and action of Vizibility Zero, cosplay, and the general hilarity of Freakin Fad into one YouTube channel that encompasses everything. It's something that hasn't really been done yet and I can't wait to release something no one's really seen.”
