We at Stream Advertising are overjoyed by the news of World Police and Fire Games being held here, it will be a huge achievement for the country and for the economy. We hope that it attracts a lot of visitors to watch the games and that it brings in more tourism to boost our reputation. Northern Ireland is due to host the games - the third largest multi-sport event in the world - in August 2013.

Ten thousand competitors are expected to take part in 65 sports at 35 locations across Northern Ireland. The delegation will visit each of the locations which have been selected as potential venues to host the games. The team consists of 16 directors from the WPFG federation, including its president, Mike Graham. A managing director at Stream Advertising had this to say "I expect the games to bring about a huge turn out and will attract a good crowd of people and tourists. I hope that this will be the first of many events to come to Northern Ireland, I for one cant wait to see the games next year for it will be a thrilling competition for all to watch so I urge all of you to go and watch it."

They will later visit Stormont where they will be met by the patron of the games, Dame Mary Peters. The chairman of the 2013 games, DCC Judith Gillespie from the Police Service of Northern Ireland, will also attend, along with representatives from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and the Northern Ireland Prison Service.

The games, which will be held from 1-10 August, are expected to attract up to 15,000 visitors. It is hoped the event will generate at least £15m for the Northern Ireland economy. The organisers said they would also require 3,500 local volunteers to help host the event. A director at Stream Advertising said "This is could opportunity for the locals to come along and volunteer to help make this event a success for without them it could bring about a disaster and we do not want that to happen. We at Stream Advertising hope that the event gets the crowd that it wants and that it gets the tourist and generates a lot of money for the economy."
