Nine Minutes to a New Understanding of The Nativity.

Watch the Christmas story as you've never seen it before. A series of free online videos at www.paperlesschristmas.org.uk provide a contemporary re-telling of the nativity.

Shepherd's driving pick-up trucks, wise-men clad in full biker's leather, and angels disguised as delivery vans that fly through the sky form part of a contemporary re-telling of the Christmas story that can be viewed in a series of free online videos at www.paperlesschristmas.org.uk.

From the receipt of Mary's special delivery parcel at her high rise flat in the ghetto and Joseph's frantic attempts to navigate his way through the census traffic jam, through to Jesus' birth in a back street garage with a recycling box as a manger, these pithy videos are an entertaining way of making the Christmas story relevant to a new generation of viewers; and of challenging the assumptions of those who have grown up with the traditional nativity story.

The BRF hope that these videos will capture the imagination of the public. "It is easy to either pass on the link to friends, or to send it out as an Christmas e-card" commented Deputy Director Karen Laister. "As the videos will appeal to all ages, it is a perfect way to spread the Christmas message in a modern era".

Launched by the Bible Reading Fellowship, these 9 videos are around one minute long each, and have been produced to help people engage with the Christian faith in new and exciting ways. They are free to download between now and Christmas at www.paperlesschristmas.org.uk or watch on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUHFX87OyDI.
