Local Law Firm Bailey & Oliver Presents 5th Annual Speech Competition at On-site Courtroom in Rogers AR
Online, February 19, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Sach Oliver recently had the opportunity to visit Rogers High School's Debate Class to prepare the students for the upcoming 5th Annual Bailey & Oliver Speech Competition.
This year, the top 15 students from Rogers High, Rogers Heritage, and Bentonville High School will all be competing in Bailey & Oliver's on-site courtroom at their Rogers location on March 15th for cash prizes. The competition will be open to the public.
According to Rogers High School Debate Coach Liz Davis, "It is such an honor to have Sach Oliver at Rogers High School to speak with our students about opportunities to connect with community leaders. He is such a great role model and example to the students. His story is so inspiring; presenting one speech in high school has led to so many outstanding opportunities! Thanks so much to the Bailey and Oliver Law Firm for all you do for the community!"
This is the fifth year that the Rogers auto accident law firm has hosted the event. Last year, first, second and third prizes were given to the top competitors; all participants received a t-shirt and a DVD of their performance.
News anchor Brad Reed of Fox 24 was on hand to judge the event last year, and was impressed with the students' performance.
"The students who competed at the Bailey & Oliver Law Firm speech competition were outstanding. It was a pleasure judging their performance and encouraging to see such talent in our local schools," said Reed.
