Erin Lale Endorsed By Ron Paul 2012 Nevada Team

The Ron Paul 2012 Nevada Team endorsed the candidacy of Erin Lale for Henderson City Council, Ward 3. Lale ran for Nevada State Assembly District 29 in 2010.

Erin Lale's campaign for Henderson City Council, Ward 3, has been endorsed by the Ron Paul 2012 Nevada Team. Ron Paul enthusiasts recently took over the Chairmanship of the local Republican Party, elected its entire endorsed slate to the Elections Board of the local Republican Party, and sent a majority of Nevada's delegates to the National Republican Convention in Tampa, Florida. Now they are turning their attention to electing local candidates. One of those is Erin Lale.

Lale ran for Nevada State Assembly District 29 in 2010 on the Libertarian ticket. Lale says, "Because the Henderson City Council Ward 3 race is a nonpartisan race, and because it will be an open seat in 2013 due to the resignation of Kathleen Vermillion, I think I have an excellent chance of winning." After Vermillion left the City Council, Lale began running to fill the seat. The Council voted not to have a special election in 2012 but to wait for the regularly scheduled election in 2013.

Lale has also been endorsed by Liberty Candidates, an organization headed by Gigi Bowman. Liberty Candidates endorsed Lale's 2010 campaign, and published How to Run for Office on a Liberty Platform, edited by Gigi Bowman and Sally O'Boyle, with an introduction by Thomas E. Woods, which Lale co-authored along with Alexander Snitker and many other endorsed Liberty Candidates.

Lale volunteered at the Ron Paul campaign headquarters in Henderson, doing phone banking, painting and hanging signs, and marching with signs during campaign events. She also participated in the Clark County Republican Central Committee, was a Precinct Captain during the 2012 Caucus, and a delegate to the Clark County Republican Caucus.

Lale is also the author of Skinflint Hints, a book on how to live a green and frugal lifestyle. Lale says, "I believe I can save the city a lot of money." She considers herself to be a fiscal conservative.
