Leff Communications Welcomes Delilah Zak as Design Director, Announces Partnership with Video Production Company Highway M
Online, March 18, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Leff Communications is pleased to announce that Delilah Zak has joined the company in the new position of design director. An expert in strategic visualizations and well acquainted with the business audience, Zak spent the past decade as a senior designer and associate design director at the McKinsey Quarterly, where she applied her vision and skills to print and digital publications, infographics, e-readers, apps, and more.
Zak's hiring follows closely on the heels of the company's strategic partnership with Mike Russell of Highway M, a video production company. Russell is a 15-year industry veteran whose talents are sought after by Fortune 500 B2B and B2C companies and start-ups alike. His work is defined by a storyteller's vision, an in-depth knowledge of production, and an understanding of business strategy and branding. Russell has collaborated with Leff Communications on a number of projects over the past several years (see samples at http://vimeo.com/highwaym).
"With Mike and Delilah on board, Leff Communications is now a one-stop shop for content development across digital media," said company founder Scott Leff. "Our team members combine a deep understanding of business with a unique ability to present concepts in memorable ways."
Zak and Russell have already collaborated on a motion graphics video that showcases the work of Leff Communications' content specialists and their ability to handle every element of video production in-house, from script-writing through design and motion graphics production.
"I'm proud of the video, and I'm excited for this opportunity to challenge myself by designing in new mediums," Zak said. "The basics of good design translate to any communications channel."
The company's expansion into graphic and video content is a recognition of the importance of visual storytelling in business communications. According to an Eccolo Media survey of business executives, video and infographics were cited by 35 and 21 percent of respondents, respectively, by frequency of consumption among all content types.
In the coming year, Leff Communications will continue to build its team and expand its network of strategic partners.
