Le Meridien Amman Completes Its Grand Renovation

Le Meridien Amman completes its grand renovation for the facade, Grand Ballroom and Benihana chain restaurant

Le Meridien Amman, the largest amongst five star hotels in the capital, has proudly completed the refurbishment project of the façade, as well as several other locations on the property, which comes as a continuation to the hotel's vision of constantly upgrading and improving their product and services.

Recently, the 400 square meter Victorian-style Grand Ballroom which is decorated with mahogany wooden walls, gold-plated wall-mounted lighting, crystal chandeliers, and hand-tufted royal blue carpets has been unveiled. It is also connected to a 40 square meter ash wood VIP lounge, and will offer the optimal opportunity for both guests and visitors to experience a truly chic discovery. It also presents itself as the perfect venue for a perfect wedding.

The facelift of the chain restaurant Benihana, offering the most delectable Japanese cuisine and Sushi, has also been completed in the previous year, adding to this inviting restaurant a refined and sophisticated style.

Furthermore, Le Meridien Amman's new main entrance has added timeless, uncontained space to the lobby, offering guests the perfect balance of public versus private space to enhance their arrival experience. The contemporary design of the entrance, in addition to the entrance of Al Mukhtar Lebanese Restaurant, has also included an artistic revelation to the property's canvas.

The completion of the Abdali bridge has facilitated accessibility to the hotel from different locations, and greatly assisted in eliminating the traffic congestion, which makes reaching the hotel in an easy and quick manner, a simple and effortless process.

About Le Meridien
Le Meridien, the French-born hotel brand currently represented by 105 properties in 50 countries, was acquired by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) in November 2005. Since then, Le Meridien has undergone a brand transformation, which included a consolidation of its hotels and resorts, appointing a full-time Cultural Curator (French arts-provocateur Jerôme Sans) and re-inventing numerous consumer touch points, by bringing unique, curated and interactive experiences to its guests. With nearly 70 of its hotels located in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, Le Meridien provides a strong international complement to Starwood's primarily North American holdings and consumer base. Plans call for dynamic expansion of Le Meridien hotels and resorts within the next five years, concentrating in the U.S., Latin America, and Asia-Pacific, including destinations such as India, Thailand and China. Le Meridien recently opened new hotels in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Chiang Rai in Thailand, Shimei Bay in China, and Dallas, Texas in the United States. Le Meridien will open hotels in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Panama City, Panama, and Xiamen, Chongqing Nan'an, and Qingdao in China. The company recently signed new hotel deals in Taipei, Taiwan.
