Large Format Printer Announces Photo Restoration Campaign Bringing New Life to Old Memories
Online, July 16, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Lifewall, a large format printer in Marshall, Minnesota specializing in wall murals and canvas prints, is now shifting its focus to the restoration of old photos people wish to bring back to life. The company then hopes to convert these revitalized photos into enduring wall displays, including gallery wrapped canvas prints and wall murals.
"We've seen an impressive number of people requesting to have old, damaged, but valuable photos transformed into something new and unique," said COO Jacob Hart. "So, we began experimenting with full service restoration for these old prints, and customers have loved it," explained Jacob Hart Lifewall COO.
Area businesses and organizations have also come with projects, including museums, bars, and more. The projects have consisted of restoring and printing local, vintage photos that hold cultural value. "We're quickly realizing the immense value people place in many of these old images," Alex MacArthur, CMO, stated. "They tell the story of how these places came to be, and the history they have yet to make."
Lifewall has already begun to accept old photos for restoration and print, using digital editing to remove major and minor defects including wrinkles, fading, and tears. On July 15th, the campaign will be opened up to the region at large. "We're planning radio outreach, updated website content, an aggressive social media strategy, and more," added Maxx Raths, Sales Coordinator. "We're very eager to get the word out about these services."
Lifewall is planning to be at the Benson's Flea Market in September and the Holiday Sioux Empire Arts and Crafts show November 8th and 9th showcasing Lifewall restoration with restored photos of iconic Sioux Falls landmarks.
Illustrations of previous restorations can be seen on the Lifewall's Facebook and Pinterest pages, and a more detailed gallery of projects will soon be available on the company's blog. Orders can be requested by calling, emailing, or submitting a project online.
