Landmark Properties is pleased to announce that construction has been completed on New York State's first All-American Home, The Americana.

Landmark's first All-American Home is a 2000 square foot ranch situated on a picturesque cul de sac in East Moriches, NY. The Americana debuted last summer at a 4th of July celebration, setting in motion Landmark's commitment to building exclusively All-American.

According to Landmark Properties owner, Mark Baisch, people are still willing to invest in the American dream. "We can't just sit back and rely on the government to turn things around", says Baisch. "The people are what will change the economics of this country. It's simple bottom-up economics."
Although the final numbers aren't back yet, Baisch says building All-American increased construction costs approximately ten percent which as of now, he is not passing along to his homebuyers. When asked if there were any surprises along the way, Baisch replied, "Well, we ended up paying 300% more for sheetrock screws.. Some things were just extremely hard to source from the USA."

The construction team put the finishing touches on the first All-American Home in the 4th quarter of 2012. Landmark has since started construction on a new round of American-built homes that will be completed in the near future.
